We started planting some things in our new veggie patch a couple of weeks ago. I love seeing new sprouts. Now when it's warmer, I love going barefoot outside, checking mailbox for new letters and veggie patch for new sprouts. It's our time to enjoy spring.

oh yes! finally. i've really been hanging out for spring this year.
i planted some corriander too. the little sprouts are lovely in yoghurt, if dolloped over some dahl!
My favorite time is seeing the perfect red tomatoes out of my window while I am doing the dishes and going out to snap off the fruit of my hard labor. happy times :)
I'll agree with you- having just moved into this place last month, every day's walk in the garden brings up a new surprise, a budding blossom or a fresh green set of leaves. The sudden re-shooting of the last owner's asparagus is the clear winner though!
